Cook on Low

Stick a fork in me; I'm done. Done enough, anyway. And now that it is complete, I wonder if I will ever wear it. It's delicate and lightweight and there is no ruffle. What was I thinking??? That's not my style. C'est la vie.

If you come into the house, the new rule is that you must hold a bunny and have your picture taken.

Our kitchen is again awash in baby bunnies, with two more being added today. My only goal is to raise up these guys until they are more able to take care of themselves.

What's for dinner? Roast Rabbits?

Knitting Linguist asked if I had spun the yarn for the blanket. Yes, I did. It's mostly sheep wool, with a smattering of mohair and angora. I used to spin a lot and knit with it and I still have a bunch of odd balls. This project is a good way to use up some of them.

Your shawl is definitely competing with all the buns. It is absolutely gorgeous and I can see all the fine work you did too. How about having your sweetie take you out to dinner on a terrace so you can slip it over your shoulders?

I am so impressed. A blanket worth of handspun. And that shawl! It's absolutely stunning. I must add that one to my to-knit list; it's right up my alley... I love your karut kake pic, too ;)
